Description

Provides long term housing, life skills training, emotional support, as well as assistance in finding area services such as job training, counseling, education, child care, and health care after an initial assessment stage that determines appropriateness for participation in the program. Hotline Counselors are On Call 24Hours/7Days. Transitional Living Program also offers limited support with transportation, personal needs, and support in acquiring ID's such as birth certificates and social security cards.

ELEVATE YOUTH SERVICES

Elevate Youth Services is a non-profit youth and family services organization serving youth and young adults between the ages of twelve and twenty-six in Washington County. Services include recreational activities,family support for young parents, youth and family crisis services, substance abuse prevention and treatment services, transitional shelter and life skills education for homeless youth, and transitional services for young adults returning to the community after being incarcerated. Elevate Youth Services also administers statewide programming and leadership for the Vermont Coalition of Runaway Youth and Homeless Youth Programs, and the Youth Development Program.
