NETO
Northeast Employment and Training Organization (NETO) is a non-profit weatherization agency providing weatherization and energy conservation services for all residential and commercial properties in Caledonia, Orleans and Essex Counties. NETO partners with the State of Vermont and the U.S. Department of Energy to provide a home weatherization program for income eligible households, with priority given to senior citizens or individuals with a disability. Services may include home improvements such as adding insulation, installing a water heater jacket, caulking, weather-stripping and other measures that help control energy costs. NETO's Home Energy Assistance Technology (HEAT), is the agency's private, for- profit arm that delivers a variety of services including energy audits, lead inspections, and home insulation and rehabilitation activities to individuals and businesses in Caledonia, Essex and Orleans Counties.
