Assists with applying for or updating insurance and financial assistance programs to purchase medications, dental treatment, and/or necessary medical equipment. Also assists with applying to programs for household needs that may affect health, such as food assistance, fuel assistance, and/or housing assistance. Assists with programs including Comprehensive Health Insurance enrollment; Prescription Drug Assistance; all forms of Medicaid, Dr Dynasaur, Medicare, etc.; 3Squares; Fuel Assistance; Referrals for Housing Assistance; Financial Assistance programs for outpatient and inpatient care at Springfield Hospital, North Star Health, and other hospitals.
