Helps low-income households maintain telephone or internet services through a discount on monthly services. Not all phone or internet companies participate. Vermonters on some pharmacy-only assistance also may not qualify. Only one Lifeline discount per household. Select tracphones (prepaid phones) are being added. It may take up to 3 months for the credit to appear on the bill. List of participating providers available on website.
