Description

Provides intensive, home based service for families at risk of having a child placed outside of the home. Also works with families for whom reunification with a child or children is a goal. Families are enrolled through a screening process.

SUNRISE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER

Sunrise Family Resource Center is a non-profit child, youth, and family services organization serving Bennington County and surrounding areas. Services include parent education and support, child care resource and referral, assistance in completing applications for child care financial assistance, early care and education, family development services for young parents, teen parent education programs, home-based family preservation and reunification services, and transitional services for youth. Sunrise provides access to concrete supports such as a community diaper bank and food pantry, and provides outreach visits to Bennington County families with young children through Children's Integrated Services (CIS).
