Description

Provides representation to individuals in the custody of the Commissioner of Corrections. Individuals in extradition, probation or parole revocation proceedings are also represented. Forms and documents are available for download on the website. Most individuals fill out application form at the courthouse on their first appearance. Individuals without funds may ask the court to reduce the assignment fee. "Serious crimes" are felonies and those misdemeanors for which a judge would impose a fine of more than $1,000 or any period of imprisonment.
