Medical Mercy Angels, formerly listed as The National Patient Travel Center, is a national, non-profit medical transportation information and referral service whose purpose is to ensure that no financially-needy patient is denied access to flights for distant specialized medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Also offers free ground transportation assistance in the form of gas cards and bus/train tickets. Provides a separate program for veterans' medical travel.
