PCVT LBGTQ+ ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, OUTREACH AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS | PRIDE CENTER OF VERMONT

Supports the social and cultural endeavors of the two spirit, transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, intersex (2STLGBQI+) communities by providing information about statewide and local activities and resources, education, and organizing advocacy events. Includes listing of 2STLGBQIA+ organizations throughout Vermont. 2STLGBQIA+ means Two Spirit, Trans, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, HIV+. Two-Spirit refers to specific gender roles, not sexual orientations, of many Native American and Alaska Native peoples that don't fall into a gender binary. It is a specifically North American Indigenous identity, and not to be used by non Indigenous people. Intersex is an umbrella term for differences in sex traits or reproductive anatomy.
