Description

Provides an online list of state-licensed residential care homes in Vermont, including contact information, bed capacity, level of care, Enhanced Residential Care (ERC) status, and Assistive Community Care Services (ACCS) eligibility. Residential care homes are group living arrangements designed to meet the needs of people who cannot live independently but who do not need the level of care provided in a nursing home. They offer assistance with daily activities such as eating, walking, toileting, bathing and dressing. Meals, activities, and other amenities are typically offered but vary by facility. Level III homes provide nursing overview but not full-time nursing care. Level IV homes provide neither nursing overview nor nursing care. Some Level III homes are designated as ERC providers, allowing them to designate a number of beds for residents requiring a higher level of care.
