Sixteen volunteer commissioners and representatives from organizations concerned with women's rights and well-being inform Vermont policymakers on issues affecting women. VCW also conducts research, educates and informs the public through publications, sponsors conferences, and acts as a resource information clearinghouse on women's issues.
