Description
Provides assistance to enforce and collect child support payments, obtain a binding child support obligation, locate a non-custodial parent, and establish paternity. If both parties live in Vermont, the regional office is identified by the county in which the custodial parent lives. If one party lives outside of Vermont, the regional office is identified by the county in which the Vermont party lives. If both parties reside outside of Vermont, the case is handled by the Central Administrative Office. Survivors of domestic violence can ask about how to access the child support system safely.
