Provides burial/cremation/funeral expense assistance for COVID-19-related deaths after January 20, 2020. Details are available on the website. If death certificate does not include COVID-19, it may be possible to have it amended by contacting the person who certified the death certificate; Expect high call volume. After initial phone application, applicant will receive a Request for Information (RFI) letter from FEMA, which outlines the documents that need to be submitted to complete the application.
