Offers individuals who accept responsibility and participate in noise abatement sessions a reduction in their fine by $100. Participation in 10 hours of community service at a non-profit will result in an additional reduction of $100. The noise abatement sessions include discussion of noise incidents and their impact on neighbors, information about how to resolve conflict, and a review of all of the City's Quality of Life Ordinances.

Burlington Community Justice Center, a member of the Community Justice Network of Vermont, is a non-profit restorative justice organization that works with citizens, local and state government, and law enforcement agencies to provide restorative responses to crime and conflict for the city of Burlington. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in finding solutions to crime through Reparative Panels, Court Diversion, Conflict Assistance, Community Dialogue, Education and Crime Prevention, as well as Victim Support Services.
