Provides services to protect the health and safety of working Vermonters. Responsible for State-specific standards concerning permissible exposure limits, lineworker safety, VOSHA/OSHA rules, and Vermont Labor Standards. Employees may contact VOSHA to request information or to file a complaint about the safety of working conditions at their employment site. Whistleblower Protection Program protects employees who raise concerns about safety and/or health at their workplace or participate in other endeavors in the furtherance of occupational safety and health and suffer retaliation as a result. This includes the same protections for employees who report workplace injuries.
