Description

Provides public awareness and education about cybercrime and online fraud such as identity theft, financial/purchase scams, imposter scams, hacked accounts/devices and cyberbullying. Provides information on how to protect against cybercrime incidents. Also provides public alerts on scams affecting specific populations, including older adults, children, teens, military personnel, and small businesses.

CYBERCRIME SUPPORT NETWORK

The Cybercrime Support Network (CSN) is a public-private nonprofit collaboration offering support to individuals and businesses affected by cybercrime. The CSN works with federal, state, and local law enforcement and consumer protection agencies to help consumers meet the challenges of internet fraud. Services include an online support program, FightCybercrime.org, which offers assistance to victims of cybercrime and online financial scams, and ScamSpotter.org, which offers resources for identifying online scams.
