Description

Offers weekly home visits of 2-3 hours for three consecutive months by trained volunteers to families with new babies. Provides support, health and safety information, practical assistance, and information about appropriate community resources. Practical assistance may include respite child care, transportation as available, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and errand running. Also serves expectant mothers on bed rest.
