Provides public awareness and education to promote community wellness and to prevent the misuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, with an emphasis on youth substance use prevention. Collaborates with other wellness programs, schools, and communities to help them promote healthy behaviors and reduce health risks.

Alliance for Community Transformations (ACT) is a non-profit organization serving the community of Bennington County through education and collaboration to promote wellness and prevent the misuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, with an emphasis on youth substance use prevention. ACT also supports initiatives and programs such as Sunshine Boxes, the Take Care Project, YourSpace, and the Youth Leadership Group.
