Provides a lending service for durable medical equipment. Some items may include but not limited to wheelchairs, walkers, canes and quad canes, crutches, shower chairs, commodes, hospital beds, bed rails, and hoyer lifts. Putney Community Cares accepts limited medical equipment/supply donations. Donations must be approved in advance and are used as part of its lending supply.

Putney Community Cares is a non-profit community organization that serves individuals of all ages in Putney with a range of programs and services. Offers arts and wellness programs and resource and referral for health and human services, assistance with state benefits and Vermont Health Connect applications, and temporary financial assistance. Also provides durable medical equipment loans, rides to appointments, community meals, and Meals on Wheels for older adults. In addition, Putney Community Cares has a Community Nurse program for Putney residents.
