GIRLS ON THE RUN VERMONT | GIRLS ON THE RUN VERMONT
Provides an experiential learning program for girls that combines life skills lessons with training for a 5K walk or run. Participation provides the girls with tools they need to manage the challenges of adolescence. Objectives include reducing at-risk activities such as adolescent pregnancy, eating disorders, and substance abuse, as well as reducing depression and suicide attempts.

GIRLS ON THE RUN VERMONT
Girls on the Run Vermont is a non-profit offering social-emotional learning programs for girls in 3rd-8th grades in Vermont. Volunteer coaches meet with their teams for twice weekly training sessions following an evidence based curriculum. Participants learn vital life skills including confidence building, teamwork skills, and goal setting, to prepare them to navigate life. The season concludes with a celebratory 5K event.
