Provides information about all aspect of Vermont elections. Offers ways to check voting status, register to vote, and update name and address. Allows people to request an absentee ballot, and view a sample ballot for an upcoming election. Also offers an accessible voting system to Vermont voters with a disability. VERMONT SECRETARY OF STATE
The Vermont Secretary of State's Office oversees Vermont's elections and notaries public, administers the licensing of Vermont businesses and the filing of the Universal Commercial Code (UCC) financing statements, regulates numerous occupations and professions in the state, is responsible for Vermont's Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program for victims of domestic violence, and is the custodian of many of Vermont's government records, including the state's historical records.
