Provides classes for non-English-speaking and limited-English-speaking individuals to learn listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with an emphasis on developing the level of communication competence necessary for community life and workplace participation.

US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Vermont, the Vermont field office of the non-profit USCRI, provides support services for asylees, refugees, and immigrants, including special immigrant visa holders, and certain humanitarian parolees throughout Vermont. Supports include refugee resettlement, refugee employment services, legal services, case management, English language training, interpreting services, health and wellness, and other American life skills support services.
