Description

Offers programs that provide students with opportunities to explore a variety of careers in health care via presentations, shadowing experiences, and hands-on learning. MedQuest Health Careers Exploration is a one-week residential program provided in collaboration with community hospitals and the Vermont AHEC Network. CSHIP is an Internship program for students enrolled in post-secondary education who intend to pursue a career in health care. The Southern Vermont Area Health Education Center (SVTAHEC) is a health care support organization that encourages the training of health practitioners through community-based education partnerships involving students, health care professionals, and community residents. SVAHEC serves the counties of Addison, Bennington, Rutland, Windham, and Windsor, and is primarily focused on rural healthcare workforce development.
