Eligibility

For GA Assistance: Have an emergent need and not have the income to meet the need; PNI Eligibility depends on household income and living expenses, who lives in home, and age and ability to work. Households in which all members receive SSI/AABD or Reach Up income are not eligible for PNI; Burial assistance is based on financial resources of the deceased person, who must have lived or died in Vermont. Only a spouse's financial resources will be used to determine eligibility.
