Description
Offers a free, 10-session educational support group that serves pregnant and parenting women who are at risk for alcohol or drug misuse, or who are experiencing the effects of a partners' substance misuse. The group helps women understand the risks associated with substance use behavior and introduces strategies to overcome the challenges of substance use and raising a family. The program is designed to provide knowledge, build skills, and offer a safe and caring climate for pregnant and parenting women. Child care and meals are provided during program sessions. Currently offered through the Howard Center located at 1138 Pine Street in Burlington. The next session of MY Time is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025.

The Vermont Division of Substance Use Programs (DSU) oversees a statewide network of health promotion, prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery services to prevent, reduce and eliminate the health impacts of alcohol, cannabis, opioid and other drug use. DSU works with national, state, and community based organizations to make programs and services available to Vermonters, uses data to plan and guide program improvements, and supports Vermont's statewide system of providers.
