USDA COMMODITY SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM FOR SENIORS | VERMONT FOODBANK
Administers the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). Program participants receive a box of nutritious foods along with nutrition information once a month. Food must be picked up from local distribution site. Commodities packages are delivered to many locations statewide for pick up. A proxy form can be filed to authorize a friend or family member to pick up.

Vermont Foodbank is a non-profit agency whose mission is to gather and share quality food and to nurture community partnerships so that no one in Vermont goes hungry. The Foodbank collects quality food from food retailers, manufacturers, distributors, farmers and community donors and then distributes that food to our network partners, which include food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and senior centers. Vermont Foodbank also administers food rescue programs, provides nutrition education in communities, and VeggieVanGo fresh produce distribution to medical center and school sites.
