Description
Provides comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services for women from puberty through the post-menopausal years. Services include well-woman exams, contraception, pregnancy and delivery services, pregnancy and childbirth education, as well as breastfeeding and post-partum support services. Services may also include menopausal and post-menopausal management services and urogynecology services. Women's Wellness Centers provide services in an emotionally supportive and safe environment, and place emphasis on educational programs that encourage women to take personal responsibility for their own health and wellness.
