Provides speakers to educate the public about the many causes of homelessness, solutions that can end the problem, and what individuals and organizations can do to make a difference. Speakers are able to travel within a 30 mile radius of Burlington. Speakers include COTS staff, board members, advocates, and people who are or have been homeless. All presentations can be tailored to meet specific needs and timeframes, including school groups of all ages.

COTS (Committee on Temporary Shelter) is a private, non-profit advocacy and services agency providing a continuum of services in Chittenden County. COTS offers emergency shelter, homelessness prevention assistance, services, and transitional and permanent housing for those who are homeless and marginally housed.
