For every dollar of 3SquaresVT benefits spent at participating Vermont farmers' markets, eligible individuals will receive a matching Crop Cash dollar, up to $20 per day and up to $20 per day with the Crop Cash Plus program. Crop Cash can only be used to purchase fruits, vegetables, herbs, and culinary plant starts. Crop Cash Plus can be spent on any eligible SNAP item. No change can be given for Crop Cash (i.e. must be used in full $1 increments). Participants can visit multiple markets a week and receive the full match at each. Visit a participating farmers market and spend SNAP benefits to get Crop Cash coupons. Check website for list of participating markets or to find a local farmers market. Individuals who receive EBT benefits as direct deposit who wish to spend those benefits at a farmers market should let the market manager know they receive their benefits as EBT Cash, and how much they would like to spend in their benefits at the market. Crop Cash can be used at the market from which it was obtained and can be saved to be used on a different day. Crop Cash and Crop Cash Plus coupons last until April 30, 2026.
