Supports the successful re-entry into the community of people released from incarceration through Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs). COSAs are made up of citizen volunteers who work with participants to help them learn to manage the challenges of everyday life, be accountable for their actions and become responsible community members. Volunteer coordinators may help establish links to employment, housing, transportation, and benefit programs.

BARRE COMMUNITY JUSTICE CENTER
Barre Restorative Justice Center is a non-profit restorative justice organization that collaborates with community members, local and state government, and law enforcement to provide restorative responses to crime. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in addressing harm and finding solutions to crime. Programs include Restorative Justice Panels, Circles of Support and Accountability (COSA), the Safe Driving Program, and a Transitional Housing Program. Community Restorative Justice Center provides services to the communities of Washington County.
