Provides support to families with young children by helping to increase parents' knowledge of healthy child development, to develop strategies around nutrition, and to understand and respond to their child's ever changing needs. Also provides access to community resources. Home visitors are trained in a curriculum called Parents As Teachers.

The Janet S Munt Family Room is a parent child center serving Chittenden County that provides education, support, and connection for parents and promotes physical, social, emotional and linguistic development in children, ages birth through six. Family Room programs include parent education and support services, Dad's Night, Crawlers Waddlers and Toddlers, Super Group, Family Play, Parents in Recovery Group, Early Months (Baby Massage), Dad's Drop In, Case Management, Computer Literacy, Preschool, Healthy Families from the Start, and Home Visiting.
