Description

Provides a community resource center and meeting space for a variety of health and human service programs and direct service provision. Programs and services provided by agencies partnering with Parks Place include housing (both renting and home ownership), education (high school diploma, GED, trade, college), mental health counseling, Turning Point of Springfield Recovery Services, Economic Services (Reach Up, Three Squares), employment (job search, interview coaching and more), and family services (coaching, parenting classes, family visits). The following agencies are onsite and available to provide walk-in assistance at the specified times: Springfield Supportive Housing every Wednesday 9:00am-2:00pm, SEVCA every Wednesday 1:00pm-4:00pm; Vermont Department of Labor every Wednesday 9:00am-3:00pm. PARKS PLACE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER

Parks Place Community Resource Center is a community non-profit that offers a central location in Bellows Falls to provide a range of services for people from northern Windham County, southern Windsor County, and nearby New Hampshire communities. Services on site include adult education, GED preparation, youth case management and counseling, parenting classes, employment, training, and support for higher education, mental health services, alternatives to court, assistance in accessing government and community-based services, support groups, AA meetings, and supervised custody visitations. Also provides community members with the use of phone, copier and fax machine.
