SPAY THE MOM | SPRINGFIELD HUMANE SOCIETY

Provides free spay services for pets who are pregnant or who have given birth. Once the pet is done weaning her babies and her milk has dried up, she will be spayed and receive any other medical care she needs, before being returned to her owner. All offspring will be kept by the Humane Society to be placed up for adoption.

Springfield Humane Society is a non-profit animal shelter for southern Windsor County, providing food, shelter, medical, and behavioral care to stray and surrendered animals. Also provides adoption services, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, and a pet food pantry. Assists low-income owners with various medical care via a no-interest loan program, when able.
