STREET OUTREACH TEAM | HOWARD CENTER

Provides immediate, in-person intervention services, referrals, resources information, emotional support, and harm reduction information. The Street Outreach Team members are on the streets to assist people with psychiatric disabilities and individuals dealing with substance abuse, homelessness, and other unmet social service needs.

HOWARD CENTER

Howard Center is is the designated agency for Chittenden County. It provides acute and long-term care services to people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and other mental health issues, substance use disorders, and/or developmental challenges. Services include emergency and crisis intervention services for adults, children, adolescents, and their families; substance use disorder treatment services in Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties; alternative education programs; and community-based developmental services.
