VERMONT SUMMER EBT | VERMONT DEPARTMENT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES - ECONOMIC SERVICES DIVISION
Provides individuals with a one time benefit of $120 for each eligible child to be able to purchase food during the summer. If families qualify and already have an EBT card, their Summer EBT benefits will be added to it. If they don't have a card but qualify, they'll receive a new card. Families automatically enrolled will be notified by mail in July.

Families that qualify based on their income but are NOT automatically enrolled can apply online
Eligibility
Children are automatically enrolled IF: they are between 6 - 16 years old and get Medicaid with a qualifying family income, 3SquaresVT, or Reach Up; OR, they are younger than 6 or older than 16 years old, but attend a Vermont public school or an independent school that participates in the National School Lunch Program and live in a home that gets Medicaid with a qualifying family income, 3SquaresVT, or Reach Up.
