SHELTER, ADOPTION, FOSTER CARE | HOMEWARD BOUND: ADDISON COUNTY'S HUMANE SOCIETY
Provides sheltering and adoption services for stray or surrendered pets. All cats, dogs and rabbits at the shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated as appropriate, and undergo behavior modification as necessary before being adopted out. Adoption includes a voucher for one free examination with a local veterinarian.

Homeward Bound: Addison County's Humane Society, is an open admission animal shelter that provides sheltering and adoption services, animal lost and found referral program, support services for low-income pet owners, affordable spay/neuter services, low-cost microchipping, humane education and outreach, trap-neuter-release for stray and feral cats, temporary shelter for persons in a housing crisis, and support to law enforcement in investigations of animal neglect and cruelty.
