Description
Administers the Impaired Driver Rehabilitation Program (IDRP), the mandatory program for individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Completion of the program is required to reinstate a suspended drivers license. Program is offered throughout Vermont at 12 regional sites.

The Vermont Division of Substance Use Programs (DSU) oversees a statewide network of health promotion, prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery services to prevent, reduce and eliminate the health impacts of alcohol, cannabis, opioid and other drug use. DSU works with national, state, and community based organizations to make programs and services available to Vermonters, uses data to plan and guide program improvements, and supports Vermont's statewide system of providers.
