SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER SERVICES | CLARA MARTIN CENTER

Provides a crisis intervention and assessment program that includes telephone, telehealth or face-to-face consultation and assessment for admission to local and/or statewide residential crisis programs. Also provides crisis intervention referral services and follow-up. When deemed warranted by the emergency intervention specialist, individuals may be placed in a Public Inebriate Program bed, a safe alternative to incarceration for individuals who require ongoing supervision during withdrawal from drug and/or alcohol intoxication.

Clara Martin Center is the designated community mental health agency for Orange County under contract with Vermont Department of Mental Health to provide acute and long-term mental health care services to people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and other mental health problems. The Center provides behavioral health care services and substance use treatment, including emergency and crisis intervention services for adults, children, adolescents and their families.
