Develops partnerships, coordinates volunteers, and offers program initiatives that address specific issues in health, community resiliency, and financial security. The United Way of Northwest Vermont initiates fund raising designed to help the communities it serves in a critical time of need. All funds are used to support organizations and people in United Way of Northwest Vermont service area.

United Way of Northwest Vermont (UWNWVT) is a non-profit community development organization serving Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties. In collaboration with non-profit organizations, faith-based groups, government, and educational agencies, UWNWVT is committed to strengthening communities by supporting and initiating programs in the areas of health, community resiliency, and financial security. It also mobilizes resources for special projects and initiatives to create sustained changes in community conditions.
