Offers small respite grants to kinship caregivers. Grants are on a first-come, first-served basis. Caregivers may apply to be entered into the respite drawing once a month. All entrants names are put in a drawing for the chance at one of two $150 monthly Respite Awards.

Vermont Kin As Parents (VKAP) is a non-profit organization providing support for non-parent relatives who are caring for children, and educates the public and community partners about kinship care. VKAP provides and attends trainings, presentations, committee work, newsletters, and community outreach throughout the state.
