Description

Provides individualized outpatient substance use assessment and treatment services for individuals who are dependent upon, or at risk of becoming dependent upon, alcohol or other substances. Also provides family substance use counseling for families dealing with adolescent substance use issues and provides group treatment services for adolescents. Provides information about alcohol and drug use, the effects on individuals, families and communities, as well as information to the public about strategies for prevention and early intervention. Youth under age 12 years must have parental consent to participate.

Clara Martin Center is the designated community mental health agency for Orange County under contract with Vermont Department of Mental Health to provide acute and long-term mental health care services to people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and other mental health problems. The Center provides behavioral health care services and substance use treatment, including emergency and crisis intervention services for adults, children, adolescents and their families.
