Individual must be diagnosed with an Intellectual/Developmental disability prior to the age of 18 (i.e. significantly sub-average cognitive functioning documented by a full scale IQ score of 70 or below), accompanied by deficits in two or more areas of adaptive behavior skills; or an individual must have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder prior to age 18, accompanied by deficits in two or more areas in adaptive skills. In addition, an individual's needs must meet a current funding priority within the System of Care Plan, as identified by Vermont Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL).
