HUD Low Income Guidelines Apply; Applicant must own and live in the property for at least 5 previous years; The property must not be subject to any pending foreclosure actions or actions to enforce liens; Property cannot be for sale or planned to be for sale after repairs; Preference given to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and working families

Description

Provides volunteer workers who complete home repairs at no cost to homeowner twice each year on a first come, first served basis dependent on meeting program requirements and available funding and volunteers. Program focuses on one-day projects including painting, caulking, plumbing, electric, roof repair, step repair and replacement, and access ramps. They are generally unable to service emergency repairs.

The program operates two project days a year - one in spring, one in fall.
