Promotes and supports the implementation of effective evidence-based suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention programs and strategies in schools, communities, and Vermont institutions of higher education.  The organization does not provide crisis intervention for clients who need assistance. Direct crisis resources, including hotlines, can be found on the VTSPC website.

The Center for Health and Learning (CHL) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build a foundation for healthy communities through educational resources and professional development. Programs include support services to numerous cooperating agencies and school systems in Vermont, as well as to the Vermont Suicide Prevention Center and the Vermont Suicide Prevention Coalition.
