Provides mediation services through which disputes are resolved with the help of a mediator in an effort to avoid resorting to court intervention. Situations that may benefit from mediation are neighborhood conflicts, landlord/tenant disputes, and student conflicts. Services are also available to community members, community organizations, town officials, schools, and police departments. Approaches vary to fit the circumstances.

ADDISON COUNTY RESTORATIVE JUSTICE SERVICES
Addison County Restorative Justice Services, a member of the Community Justice Network of Vermont, is a non-profit restorative justice organization that works with citizens, local and state government, and law enforcement agencies to provide restorative responses to crime and conflict. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in finding solutions to crime through Reparative Panels, Court Diversion, Circles of Support and Accountability, Pretrial Services, Family Conferencing, Community Mentor, Victim Services, and the Youth Substance Abuse Safety Program.
