SERVICES FOR OLDER ADULTS / PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES | GREEN MOUNTAIN TRANSIT
Provides transportation to and from non-Medicaid medical appointments, meal sites, senior centers, social activities, shopping and pharmacy trips, radiation and dialysis treatment, and general daily needs. Offers volunteer driving opportunities. Enrollment is limited and dependent upon available funding at the start of each fiscal year. Bus Map and Guides in large print and Braille are available upon request. To volunteer to provide rides, call or email for an application or visit website.

Green Mountain Transit is a public transportation provider serving Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, and Washington counties with links to towns in Addison, Caledonia, Lamoille, and Orange counties. Services include fixed local routes, long distance linked routes, deviated routes, commuter routes, demand-response paratransit services, shopping shuttles, medical shuttles, Medicaid transportation, and free demand-responsive transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Also allows real-time bus tracking via a web portal and using free mobile apps.
