Provides a free and anonymous syringe exchange program. Program distributes new syringes and disposes of used syringes, safer use supplies, naloxone, wound care kits, fentanyl test strips, and overdose prevention education. Check in a front desk. No need to give name. In partnership with the Aids Project of Vermont (APSV), which also offers needle exchange sites.

United Counseling Services is the designated community mental health agency for Bennington County under contract with Vermont Department of Mental Health Mental Health Services to provide acute and long-term behavioral health care services to people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and other mental health problems. UCS provides behavioral health care services and substance abuse treatment, including emergency and crisis intervention services for adults, children, adolescents and their families.
