Survivor-directed services may include safety planning, emotional support, assistance in obtaining emergency relief from abuse orders, hospital emergency room support, assistance in finding emergency shelter, advocacy for legal, financial, medical, and housing issues, and community resource referrals.

PAVE (Protect Against Violent Encounters) is a non-profit domestic and sexual violence prevention and intervention organization providing a 24-hour crisis hotline, individual advocacy, emergency shelter, and assistance with filing relief from abuse orders in Bennington County. PAVE also provides community information and education around issues of domestic and sexual violence, including human trafficking, as well as a parental supervised visitation program.
