BYRNE HOUSE FAMILY SHELTER | UPPER VALLEY HAVEN
Provides temporary emergency shelter for families, along with supportive services for housing and employment, help with budgeting skills, connecting with appropriate state agencies, establishing child care, and transportation to meetings and appointments. Each family is required to work with a service coordinator around a plan for permanent housing. Must participate in chores and house meetings. Elementary school-age children are provided with an after-school program. Elementary and younger middle school-age children with a full-day summer program.

Upper Valley Haven is a non-profit poverty services organization serving the Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire. The Haven provides service coordination, a shelter for families and a shelter for adults, supportive housing services, a food shelf, grab and go meals, community food program support, and a public shower. Children's services and various types of community and individual education are also available.
