Provides medication and cannabis lock boxes and pouches, Deterra at-home medication disposal bags, and works closely with the Hartford Police Department in support of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Days to promote safe disposal of unused prescription medication.

The Hartford Community Coalition (HCC) is a non-profit organization serving the Hartford area through education and collaboration to promote wellness and prevent the misuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, with an emphasis on youth substance use prevention. HCC also supports initiatives and programs such as the Drug Take Back Program, Getting to Y, Suicide Prevention Resources, Take a Bite Out of Hunger, Talking Matters: Navigating the Hard Stuff with Youth, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
