Provides a peer-run helpline for treatment referrals, and support with general questions or concerns about eating disorders. Helpline is operated by trained volunteers. Also offers online resources about eating disorders and related topics. The helpline is NOT a crisis line. It exists to provide resources and support to those with questions about recovery. ANAD (National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders) is a non-profit, peer-run organization providing information and referrals for treatment, counseling, and support services for people with eating disorders; includes referrals to support groups for people with eating disorders and their family members. They also offer a helpline, online treatment directory, mentorship program and resource guides.
